Last night in the U.S.

We begin our January adventure Thursday, as 29 students and two professors trace the history of mass media through London, Berlin, Prague, Nuremberg, Frankfurt and numerous points in between. Over three weeks, we’ll see the Rosetta Stone, at least two copies of a Gutenberg Bible, the Brandenburg Gate and Checkpoint Charlie, the studios of Radio Free Europe and the BBC, the heart of the German film industry, remnants of the Nazi regime, the financial center of Europe, and countless other landmarks of media and European culture. Keep checking back, as we’ll be posting regular updates as we make our way.
